ROG SCAR 18 TRACKPAD UPGRADE?

HAS ANYONE COME UP WITH A WAY TO INCORPORATE A BETTER TRACK PAD INTO THE SCAR 18? I CANT USE A MOUSE AND KEYBOARD IN THE AREA IM IN DUE TO SPACE ISSUES. WHILE TRYING TO WORK WITH PRECISE AREAS ON THE TIMELINE THE TRACK PAD IS JUST SO LOOSE AND FLIMSY ON THE CHASIS WHEN I DOUBLE CLICK IT AT TIMES ITS CAUSING ME TO NOT BE AS ACCURATE AS IT SHOULD BE.

IF THE SCAR 18 JUST HAD THE FEEL OF THE X16 AND THE G14"S TRACK PADS IT WOULD BE NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!!!. THE SCAR 18"S TRACK PAD IS JUST TO SOFT/DAMPEND/RICKETY ETC. THERE IS JUST NO STRONG STURDY CLICK FEEL TO IT. SO MANY OTHER AWESOME UPGRADE OPTIONS ARE ON THIS LAPTOP I REALLY HOPE THERE IS A WAY TO GET THE TRACK PAD WAY MORE PRO FEELING TO MATCH THIS LAPTOPS POWER. BUT THIS MIGHT BE A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME IF I DON'T HEAR ANY IDEAS FROM THE ROG USERS.

I HAVEN'T EVEN LOOKED IF THERE IS A TRACK PAD TO PLUG INTO THE USB PORT AND LAY IT ON TOP OF THE SCAR 18"S TRACK PAD. OR HOPEFULLY FIND OUT A WAY/IDEA TO REPLACE THE 18"S TRACK PAD FROM UNDERNEATH ALL TOGETHER WITH A MORE ACCURATE ONE ETC?                                             THANKS FELLOW ROGS~

I know you can buy speciality track pads and yes you can plug them into your laptop.

Those are nice but over the years I have adapted to editing with just the track pad I used to have one of those called bamboo I think.. I'm not sure about how the pen would really work on the time line when i haft to drag and drop edits and effects.Out in the field its not gonna be able to do what i will need to.That's kind of why the track pad and a all in one laptop is so important etc.In the evening time we basically only have a certain amount of time to dump the footage from the day into the laptop and edit it. There is no desk or anything pretty much in a tent with a laptop and a cord running to the generator and having to rely very heavily on the track pad,way more so then what people are kind of used to for editing footage with a mouse and keyboard. There is usually only about 3 hours of editing before the weather starts to effect the conditions and then I haft to put the laptop back inside a temp controlled case so it doesn't freeze up during the night and days..Thanks for the link and idea.

I think if you search for "keyboard with touchpad" on amazon you might find what you need. 

I've seen specialized controllers made from PlayStation controllers but they were one offs and aren't sold anywhere to my knowledge
