Rog Scar 18 how to replace the display hinges?

Hello, my display has become wobbly for some reason. I wanted to tighten or replace the hinges a bit, but couldn't find them. I removed the bottom lid, CPU/GPU fans etc, but I couldn't get to them. Do I need to disassemble the whole thing just to reach the hinges? Any ideas please?

Hello,

ASUS have service manuals in the support section (service and guide maintenance) which will help but for part of it / access you need to have the top trim / cover off to see the hinges / screen cables. Example here.

See if there is service guide first, I got those images from a 2024 G18 model manual.

You must loosen the hinges, not tighten them. The "gap" and uneven movement of the top half appear after damage to the lid or base caused by tight hinges.
