I've run HWMonitor with logging enabled and it doesn't seem to throw up any high temperatures, however I've found that if I reduce the thermal target for the GPU in Armory to 83C or below it doesn't crash which seems odd as I'm sure the GPU is supposed to cope with higher temperatures than that.

Not sure what additional information that I need to provide. It crashes games unless I set the Thermal Target for the GPU for 83C, which I assume means that there's some sort of overheating issue.
I've also set the fan curve to set fans to 100% when it reaches 70C to keep temp down as much as possible. CPU settings in Manual don't have any effect so left to Manual modes default values.

For this reason check in the forum there have so many post's about thermal throttling, high temperatures ,crash also depend what are your fan speeds also have you clean your laptop and when was the last time when you open it and clean it also scar 16 but what CPU ,GPU .... So much information you need to write and read other post's this is the FIRST most important thing

No idea how clean it is inside as I've not opened it as it's still under warranty and don't want to risk voiding it, but I keep the externals clean..
The CPU is an i9 13980HX, the GPU is an RTX 4080.
Have experimented with PL1 and PL2 on CPU and reducing Base & Memory Clocks and Dynamic Boost but the only thing that has an effect on whether it crashes or not is Thermal Target.
