ROG Notebook Benching Team.

Level 11
Ok so i decided to do a ROG Notebook Benching Team. This will be a anything goes see how high you can get on the 3DMark and other benchmark leader boards. Open for all systems as well as specs. Benchmarking can be a fun hobby and cranking out the clocks on a notebook to see what desktop configurations you can match is always fun.

The reason behind this is there is not notebook benching for ROG. This is a good way to show people just how fast your system is or just to add some points to you're HWBot.

So i guess the only thing it to figure out some sort of initiation. So lets say obtain a 20% overclock and you are in. Pretty easy but it does require some work. So just toss up a link for 3DMark 2013 with a 20% or higher overclock and lets see how much of the top single GPU spots we can fill up for the GTX 660m, 670m, 670mx and for those with the G46's the HD4000's just for S's and G's.

Also for those people serious about getting the big scores i will also post some info from time to time on obtaining the highest scores you can.

G75VX GTX 670MX Stock for starters. I guess my CPU and GPU clocks are low because of the saving power states that kicked in at the end of the tests.

Any chance this team is extended to older G-series notebooks? I have a G53SX and I might toss some scores in.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
We now have 178 people whose systems will not break! Yippee! 🙂
LINUX Users, we have a group!

Any ROG Laptops. The whole point is to see how much of the top spots we can fill with Asus systems. Just a fun little thing to pass time.

If you have issues with power saving easy fix is. install throttlestop and just tick the box next to multi crank it to turbo. They got a full guide on it but it will lock your cpu to the turbo multi what is 3.4ghz for the 3630qm

Thanks for the heads up on the throttlestop. I guess besides a new PSU I am also going to buy a Kill-a-Watt meter or similar before going further with it.
