I have GL552JX which already 2 years and 3 month old, and after playing with it including vbios mod, it still runs fine but every windows boot there are WHEA information (not error) ID 5 in event logs, usually it isn't. So after searching few thing I found a GL552VW motherboard which priced IDR 3.500.000 ( new of course ), when the 2nd hand GL552VW is IDR 8.000.000++. as both were compatible (diff port only VGA in JX but in VW were usb 3.1) so my question is :
1. is it worth to buy the motherboard only ? considering less than half 2nd hand and upgrade over my JX (cpu from 4th to 6th and GPU from 950M to 960M)
2. is the WHEA information means my hw fail? well it happens after I was OC memory clock on 950M but I already reset it, but it still there. since I using this laptop as daily basis (and buy new one at this price range is out of options) based on question no.1 what choice 1 have?
