RAM upgrade asus ROG Strix GL553VD

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the RAM slots on my laptop. Originaly i had a RAM card of 8GB and 2400MHz, now installed 2x16GB of 2666MHz. If i look at the app called ASUS ROG gaming center, i see a red line at CPU memory of around 2666Mhz, while it originaly was around 2400MHz. Is this possinble to run, whil it ever be a problem and does it effect my laptop?
