Good day,
First, to my system:
To my problem:
For months I have had problems with micro stutters, I have already tried everything possible:
Now after months I finally had the idea to deactivate HAGS (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling) and I couldn't believe my eyes. Everything runs incredibly smooth and the micro stutters are gone.
The big problem now is that you have to have HAGS activated to activate Frame Generation... In some games, not even Dlss 2.0 works. Does anyone know the problem and could solve it? Games like Immortals of Avenuen are hardly playable without Dlss... Unfortunately, you also have to restart the PC when changing the HAGS setting, which would be extremely annoying... especially since more and more games with Dlss 3.0 are coming out.

I found another program that could be helpful, called Nvidia Inspector. In this program, you can select a game and it will automatically set the optimal settings for it. Another important point is the "Rbar" setting, which is enabled in GPUZ. However, I'm not sure if this is a display error. I also enabled the option in Nvidia Inspector and I feel like everything is running smoother.

Sure NPI is a well known program (I personally use everyday trying to squeeze the best smoothness from every game, even using undocumented features... some of my guides on Steam fixed a few games thanks to NPI, like Hotshot Racing - Frame pacing fix ). I used it also to fix the best I can Doom 3 and MAME to reduce stuttering on this G834JY (which is a nonsense and those applications should be a joke for it)...
rBAR is not always recommended though, and only a few games can benefit from it. There are also some games having problems instead like Red Dead Redemption 2, for which NVidia created a specific undocumented setting to fix stuttering caused by rBAR with this game: for DirectX is 0x00e942fe, for VK games is 0x20feaf0d (you have to enable hidden unknown settings clicking on the gear button in the toolbar of NPI...)
However wanted to point out that I don't see much problems with recent or demanding titles on my G834JY. Instead I'm disappointed by some old games running much worse now... sigh... that I'm slowly examining and trying to "patch" as I can through NPI itself and other few tools (but some still stutter and wasn't able to "fix")....
👉🏻 At this point, after reading a lot on the Internet including other user experience with equivalent Lenovo or MSI new laptops, I am convinced that it is most likely an NVidia driver problem with 4080-90 mobile GPUs in general! Let's hope for fixes in the near future, but in the meanwhile let's mailbomb NVidia with survey reports of stuttering with games (I already issued at least 4 bug-reports!): Submit driver feedback directly to NVIDIA: Link Here

There's something strange with these ASUS laptops...
At 8:29 Hogwarts shows very bad frame pacing and 1% lows on the SCAR 18 compared to the TITAN 18:
