Hello, I want to buy this model of the laptop GL553, but after reading your forum, and asking a couple of questions, no one ever answered, the owner of this model say that with the temperature, whether it is high, the laptop is needed for online games and surfing on the Internet.
And what for disconnecting the laptop with high speed fans?
How critical is this model?

I own a gl502vmk. I bought it at 1400 euros. I recommend you not take any laptop asus those who have an i7 7700 hq !! The last they produced, to sponsor him, wrote "NO THROTTOLING". If you buy a gaming laptop and pay it more than 1000 euro ... I think it does not have trouble throttoling! I suggest you wait for bios updates! Then if you want to buy it by hearing what the holders of that laptop say after the updates.

Thank you, at least someone answered, I will wait.
And when is the bios planned?
But I do not think that the BIOS will fix the system overheating.
I write with an interpreter, do not judge strictly)

A friend has Asus ROG GL553VE made tests and modifying the cover there is no change just doing undervolt on cpu and gpu you have some improvements for the overheating. So I think the only solution is a fix made by asus. Asus says nothing when it comes to updates.
