Question about GL502vs nvidia driver

Quick question about the GL502VS. Can you install the normal nVidia drivers or do you need to go through ASUS. The Geforce Experience app is not showing any update and nVidia's autodetect on their website shows that the vendor recommended drivers be installed through them.

Uninstall geforce n re-install it from nvidia website.. I had the same problem

Just wondering if there is something special about the Asus version of the driver before trying to install the nvidia driver.
