I have a ROG GL771JW. Once in a while, I'm disconnected from the internet. To reconnect, I have to push my ethernet cable towards the port. I saw another similar problem in this thread:
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?55699-G751JY-ethernet-socket-not-working and it says at the end "If pushing it in further is required to make contact you should get another Ethernet cable with a longer base connector - that one is going to be flaky over time.".
Is there a specific name for this kind of ethernet cable with a longer base connector? So I could order it.
My cable is category 5e. I tried with another ethernet cable and I also had the same problem once in a while.
