i have problem with asus g53sx i have a recovery i mad it before widows has gone i restart window and press f9 and format by choose the third option and i used the recovery by press esc and boot from dvd after restore from recovery disk the windows can not boot from hard and the hard can not visible i insert a cd for mini winows xp and i boot from it but hard disk is not found in windows

Try to remove any USB stuff. Also, check the Sata config from Bios: it should be AHCI. Try the other option.

Also if you cannot see HDD then you can try this: Start > Search for programs > type Disk Management and run program > There are all your HDDs and their partitions > There should be "System reserved" and on the right side is the rest of your HDD > Right click on it and choose option "Change letter and path" (I dont have ENG Windows it should be something like this) > Click "Add" or "Change" and choose the letter and NTFS File System. Then you should see your Hard drive in Windows.
