I tried using a mini display port to VGA connector for connecting the external monitor. It didn't work
Note: The connector is working with MacBook. So, I think no problem with the connector. I also noticed that my display is using an Intel graphics card instead of NVIDIA. What setting need to be changed. Kindly help
