New G512LW RAM locked at 2933 MHz (even though advertised as 3200 MHz).

New laptop. Ran some benchmarks and noticed RAM was at 2933. No biggie, I'll just fix it in BIOS... Nope. There is no option whatsoever. After digging, I found this little tidbit on Asus' site:

https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-Strix-G15-17/Tech-Specs/
*Full DDR4-3200 support will be enabled by an automatic BIOS update in July 2020. Older BIOS versions can manually set the memory to 3200MHz, but the July update is recommended for maximum stability.

Well, it's almost the end of August and .310 is still the newest BIOS version and no XMP/JEDEC/OC support. Why did the 3200MHz support get delayed? When can a fix be expected? Anyone else having the same issue?

I want to ask here for confirmation that my system (G512LW-XS78) can take up to 64GB of Ram?
I can't quite decide if 2933 or 3200 or which way to go...I already have 2 2933 samsung sticks.
might as as well.make sure to get 2 more sticks.

It says says in taskmanager that my ram slots is 2 out of 4 slots being used.
so the system can take up to four 16GB sticks of RAM?

I am having a hard time finding a website listing All of the Technical and specifications options for upgrades for my system to make a decision.
