Hi.
I have recently purchased the laptop and I am experiencing low fps and crashes in several games.
Laptop specs:
Asus ROG Strix G15
Graphics :RX 5700 XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics
16GB Ram.
Windows 11
I have updated ALL the laptop drivers including: (Armoury Crate, AMD Adrenaline Software, and the BIOS driver )
The laptop seems to be working and preforming fine in general and in some titles I played preforms as expected, but in certain games I am experiencing crashes or low fps/performance.
The 2 examples of issues I am having are:
Shadow of the Tomb Rider: the game will randomly crash within 2 minutes of loading witch an error message "Your system may not have enough resources to run the game" - I have managed to solve this issue by disabling directX 13 in the settings witch made the game run without crashing. How ever I still experience random fps drop even on low settings.
Cyberpunk 2077: game seems to be running of the integrated GPU even with turbo mode enabled in Armoury Crate and setting the game to run of the RX 5700 XT manually in the AMD software. The game will overload the CPU to 100% and grind the laptop to a halt witch makes me think its using CPU integrated graphics.
As this is my first all AMD gaming laptop I am not sure is this a general compatibility issue witch certain games or is this a software/driver issue.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
