Hello guys, i was using my laptop one day (Rtx 4060, I4900K Intel 16gb ram) and when i went on call of duty the frames were dropping a lot, normally this doesn't happen so i thought i should update my graphics driver, i checked again it lagged more. I opened up HWMonitor and found that my cores were reaching to 95 degrees and even 100 which surprised me.   Does anyone know how to fix this?

In documents open the config file and redact the cpu Cores usage in the game to 8 becouse by default they are 16

Also in your game go to graphics and lower little bit your graphics use DLSS to quality becouse some graphics can be the reason for big FPS drops

Another thing very important in the graphics section where is the memory % usage for the game make thi value to 75% this cause also very big FPS drop

For example i will snd you my graph and you can see very stable

This is for the game

For this high temps you must abjust the laptop Fan speed Manuel from the armory crate

also use a cooling pad for your laptop  that will help for the lower temps

Another thing you can do is to download this mega files and you will fint there different profiles for armory crate and ghelper they will work perfect for you laptop

https://mega.nz/folder/q8M2zLhR#qvTtEbFxAMc_sDpsefyD8A

The profiles are different and you will see folders for 4000-4500-5000 RPMs in this case never play on turbo or performance mode that profiles are mixed in normal work whitout gaming your laptop have normal fans speed at 2100 RPMs for all fans

Also if you can undervolt your CPU and GPU that will meka HUGE temperatures drop but be careful it can remove your warranty (maybe i am not so sure for undervolt)

Undervolt is 100% safe only thing that can happen is your laptop to crash and need restart

thanks, it dropped it a bit, but before just using performance was fine and randomly it started lagging, is it a problem with the system?

No the problem is in the profiles how they are abjusted for this reason i like to set a custom profiles whit everything

Your system and laptop doesn't have problem just need adjustments to improve the worl
