My GL502V goes black after ROG logo while still showing the loading animation

Hi there

Today i was back to using my ASUS ROG laptop after being out for 3 weeks, and when i started it the screen just goes black but the loading animation is still running as you can see from the screenshot below. The power and SDD lights are on but it simply doesn't go to windows. It just stays there for minutes after minutes.

I still haven't opened the laptop as per other thread sugestions because it is still under warranty. Any help on what this could be?

Many thanks for your help.

Does the Asus logo come up at all?
Can you enter the BIOS? Not sure for your model, for me I hammer F1 and F2 and I end up in there 🙂

I can see the Asus logo...it just keeps showing the spinning dots animation after the logo screen.

I can also get into the BIOS or enter Safe Mode. What i did until now was an automatic repair ,a system Restore Point and a System Scan but that didn't work, i also tried to follow some advise from Microsoft forums to update my graphics card driver but when i try to open the Device Manager(in Safe Mode), i get an error saying "Application not found"

Really lost with this and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Don't waste your time. Backup all your data and reformat. It will be good as new.

I agree with the above, sounds like something got corrupted in the MBR or such.
If you have the recovery partition, use it. You can backup data from safe mode to external drive.

I followed your advise but i'm having no luck with it. Used the Restore this PC function while keeping my files or even the other option to restore while cleaning everything, but i always get the error that it coul not continue and the laptop would restart.

I've tried to boot from a pen drive using Windows 10 media creation tool from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 but the laptop doesn't boot from it. I used the option boot from a device. Should i change something in the BIOS to boot from the USB drive? It seems there is an option Launch CSM disabled while Fast Boot is enabled but it's strange i cannot boot using the option on the Windows recovery screen.
