Let me explain, I have never in my life has not faced with liquid metal but now when faced realized that it's ******ed up, in general, the symptoms are as follows:

There is a laptop on it suspiciously warmed up the processor, and the temperature showed inadequate (Really up to 95 on a permanent basis) In the bios so generally lock at 95 degrees.

At any small load it gives out under 90 degrees, decided to disassemble and look at what's going on there in general on the cover and without mat not to say.

In general I saw that flowed liquid metal, the opinion of services on this matter vary, someone says that and for 20k will not take and it's ******ed and crystal and everything in general and death and ala ulu.

Repaste it and you're good. Nothing hard – just watch out not to spill any on the motherboard. Also, use a cotton swab to remove it and clean it well. Also, change the thermal paste on the VRAM and other chips that have some. When you do this and tighten everything, you're good to use it – and don't worry about it so much.

For the liquid metal – it's normal to spread over time, so this is not a big problem. I changed it on my laptop by myself – no services, no other people. It's easy. Watch this video and buy a laptop cooling pad – IETS GT500 – and you will forget about high temps. I’ll send some screenshots to show you the temps and power usage.

repaste #liquidmetal #asusgaminglaptop #gaminglaptop Another job well done by Asus on a $4300 Laptop. What more can be said? If you are getting high temps on some P cores compared to others (10*C difference or higher under load) then you definitely have a crappy paste job done by the manufacturer
