Hi all,
I have a Rog Strix G16 G614JZ. With its I9 and 4080 GPU I find it quite powerful. However, I have a question about memory update. According to the specifications, it has a maximum of memory of 32GB. Given that this model already has 32GB, it seems that memory improvement is not possible. However, I don't understand the reason behind ths limit. The laptop is powerful enough to manage 64 GB (or even higher).
Has enybody tried to update memory beyond this 32GB limit? What do you think that will happen?
Thanks in advance to anybody answering.

Hi eXplode,
thank you for you answer. However, I'm afraid that the issue is trickier than it. 32GB is the total limit (two slots) according to specs. It means that going beyond that limit is uncharted terrain. I've already searched the forum and I haven't find a final answer.
Customer support from asus doesn't give a final answer, and their advice is conservative: Stability is guaranteed up to 32GB, beyond that ... (of course it is. I've already figured it out after reading the specs). On the other hand, there are some posts that check motherboard max. mem. through command line. After running this utility, the result is 64GB for my motherboard, something not recommended from customer support.
My question is if anybody has efectively installed 64GB in that specific model Rog G16 G614JZ (2013), and if that's the case, I want to know if there has been any trouble with system stability.
