I just got a Strix Scar 16 laptop a couple months ago and found this one weird and incredibly frustrating issue. The laptop randomly seems to become unbearably slow for no apparent reason. One day it's totally fine and working great, and then the next day I open it and it's almost unresponsive. It takes a full second or two to register when I've moved the mouse over something, and multiple minutes just to open basic programs like task manager. The mouse itself feels delayed as well, but nothing appears actually wrong with the laptop.
The last time this happened, I spent hours trying everything I could think of to fix it to no avail, and then it just fixed itself overnight with no extra work. Task manager showed nothing wrong, the laptop wasn't working any harder than normal nor were there any odd programs. I expect it to pass again by tomorrow with no explanation, but I am thoroughly confused and still frustrated as it's essentially rendered the laptop useless for the day.
Does anyone have any clue as to what might be going on here/how I could fix it when it happens without having to waste a day waiting?
