I usually don’t shut down my laptop; I just lock it. However, I started noticing that it would turn itself off overnight.
Later, it stopped restarting entirely—only the power and battery indicator lights remained on.
I tried holding the power button for 60 seconds, pressing F2 and Delete, and unplugging/replugging the RAM, but none of these worked.
I disconnected the battery for a couple of weeks and left the power cable disconnected.
Then I attempted to start it again with power cable connected, I noticed the driver activity indicator blink, and the laptop successfully powered on. However, after turning it off, it wouldn’t restart again.
