Keyboard backlight dimmer only on some keys GL502VS

I bought this laptop and from day one, it had this problem where 5 keys has a dimmer backlight than the rest of the keyboard, sadly the cam my cellphone has is so bad that you cant see a difference between the keys so I had to search in google for a picture that represents what Im trying to say:

that dude that posted that picture said he fixed it by readjusting the backlight flex cable connector into its socket, so is there any tutorial how to do it? and in case thats not my case, should I buy a new keyboard and put in on my laptop? Or maybe any other fix?

just a quick note: I see you posted this a while ago and didn't get any replies. that is likely to happen as a lot of the time the other threads get swamped by the more popular threads (such as the kabylake processor bug thread).

I wouldn't recommend trying to fix this yourself as you will void the warranty on the computer. I would contact your local ASUS support centre and ask them what they think. You might be able to RMA the unit.
