Love it but it has many annoying little issues (fully updated with Win Update and MyASUS official app, BIOS 311):
[COMMON] Speaker sounds randomly muted 'till I reboot with no error in Device Manager, no icons with X and no crashes, but speakers simply do not play audio anymore (headphones still work). Only solution a reboot. Totally random in normal desktop usage.
[COMMON] Sometimes randomly after 2 days of sleep and resume, USB-C DisplaPort won't detect anymore the attached (but turned off) monitor when I turn it on. Have to reinsert DisplayPort cable (8K high quality). To be exact it happens after Windows Hibernation. (SOLVED with BIOS 315 ✔️)
[MY UNIT] Loud coil whine with the test from GPU_Caps_Viewer: 3D Demos/Vulkan 2 Tessellation. Tested in real games or other 3D Demos and coil whine is minimal and acceptable though...
[COMMON] Random internal screen (desktop usage) fast-flickerings (0.1sec, very fast almost unnoticeable, mostrly in the upper portion of the screen)... looks like AMD iGPU unstable frequency (?). This seems a well known AMD iGPU issue reported in many forums with previous AMD CPU models. Waiting for AMD Adrenalin driver/BIOS updates hoping for a fix... 🤞🏻
[COMMON] No S3 Standby state in the BIOS!! Forced S0 only (a sort of MS hybrid standby 2.0) with fans quietly active (???). You can check it with powercfg /a
from admin Cmd prompt. Microsoft calls it "Modern Standby", which is good only for office workstations, maybe. We need S3 (classic Standby) instead.
[COMMON] Standby set as: after 10 min screen off and after 45 min standby; when I return to the laptop after 1-2 hours I find the keyboard leds on and system freezed including stuck white mouse pointer over a black screen (!?). I've found a workaround from admin prompt simply forcing hibernate after 30 min and setting screen off and standby both after 10 min. It didn't happen anymore.
Power settings commands (admin):powercfg /x hibernate-timeout-ac 0
(default 0, AC is for PSU mode) powercfg /x hibernate-timeout-dc 60
(default 60 min = 3600 sec, DC is for battery mode) powercfg HIBERNATE ON
(force-enable Hibernation if not present)powercfg /q
(to show current idle settings)✍🏻 IMPORTANT: to report issues with Armoury Crate to ASUS support, follow this post (create the log and fill out the form!): https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/armoury-crate/armoury-crate-v5-7-6-0-amp-v5-7-9-0-aura-creator-v3-7-6-...

Something strange indeed in your setup, the 94°C seems unusual for this model, under no load. Here's mine in desktop use and silent/standard mode:
So I'm wondering whether this 94°C could be due to a background software or driver that loads permanently your laptop?
Note I have also a Corsair gaming Bluetooth mouse I use sometimes, and never experienced that. I did not install Corsair iCue software, really sub-optimised and huge "gas factory", just for using a simple mouse occaionally, so relying on default W11 mouse driver which is fine for this usage

"Fast startup" is another badly marketed idea from Microsoft. It's useful only on "stable" HW used for routinary office desktop/developement work, never for a personal computer multi-purpose where you update drivers frequently. Just like the bad idea of "Modern Standby". Both should have been renamed something like "Workstation fast startup" and "Workstation standby". They cause many more troubles than they solve on standard multipurpose PC single-user systems.

Yes, and to add even more inconsistency, Microsoft invented 2 modes for Modern Standby: connected and disconnected
I could understand for particular business/work usage, having a connected mode, behaving somehow like a smartphone, and updating information even while in sleep mode
But these ROG laptops, are delivered with Modern Standby in disconnected mode. So it doesn't benefit from any advantage of connected mode, compared to a classic former sleep mode (S3), and it's even worse, as Modern Standby consumes finally more power due to unexpectedly wake-ups
Microsoft pushes manufacturers to adopt this Modern Standby, although it creates lots of discrepancies with hardware and drivers, probably not fully compatible

fast startup disabled. But additionally can say that
thеre was an exclamation mark and it was written that the driver was not working correctly. I uninstalled it and the operating system reinstalled it and fixed it. Could this driver affect stability?
And is it necessary to remove the MyAsus program in addition to the AC? Thanks

The driver that you have reinstalled is necessary for the system to function properly.
It is not necessary to uninstall MyAsus.
Let us know if your new configuration makes your system stable, without random reboots and freezes.

Hello guys, just one quick question.
I have ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 G733PY
AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX and RTX 4090 laptop GPU
The cooling is happening from the sides as I can see here on official web page ROG Strix SCAR 17 (2023) | Gaming Laptops | ROG – Republic of Gamers | ROG Global (asus.com)
Not from the bottom of the laptop, right?
The cooling pad is gonna be useless for this model.

Air intakes are on bottom, exhausts are on sides and top (4 in total). So of course, a cooler pad will work. I would suggest Cooler Master Notepal U3 Plus (it is large enough for this laptop and the holes in the mesh allow for different spacing of the fans, it can best fit any laptop based on air intake position on the laptop's bottom). I went further and replaced original Cooler Master's 3 fans (small and noissy) from this cooler pad with 3 Noctua 12cm fans plus Noctua's speed controller. It works great and temps are quite lower (also quiet). Here are a few screenshots:

I have IETS GT500 cooling pad, but the temperature difference with or without is barely noticeable...
As well was testing forza horizon 5 with and without. Without cooling pad I'm getting more fps 😄 like by 8-10 frames
Also I can't get it why If I am undervolting cpu -10, -15 and so on in any app like Universal Tuning Utility or G-helper, laptop goes for a restart. But when I was doing the same through the bios - worked fine...
