Love it but it has many annoying little issues (fully updated with Win Update and MyASUS official app, BIOS 311):
[COMMON] Speaker sounds randomly muted 'till I reboot with no error in Device Manager, no icons with X and no crashes, but speakers simply do not play audio anymore (headphones still work). Only solution a reboot. Totally random in normal desktop usage.
[COMMON] Sometimes randomly after 2 days of sleep and resume, USB-C DisplaPort won't detect anymore the attached (but turned off) monitor when I turn it on. Have to reinsert DisplayPort cable (8K high quality). To be exact it happens after Windows Hibernation. (SOLVED with BIOS 315 ✔️)
[MY UNIT] Loud coil whine with the test from GPU_Caps_Viewer: 3D Demos/Vulkan 2 Tessellation. Tested in real games or other 3D Demos and coil whine is minimal and acceptable though...
[COMMON] Random internal screen (desktop usage) fast-flickerings (0.1sec, very fast almost unnoticeable, mostrly in the upper portion of the screen)... looks like AMD iGPU unstable frequency (?). This seems a well known AMD iGPU issue reported in many forums with previous AMD CPU models. Waiting for AMD Adrenalin driver/BIOS updates hoping for a fix... 🤞🏻
[COMMON] No S3 Standby state in the BIOS!! Forced S0 only (a sort of MS hybrid standby 2.0) with fans quietly active (???). You can check it with powercfg /a
from admin Cmd prompt. Microsoft calls it "Modern Standby", which is good only for office workstations, maybe. We need S3 (classic Standby) instead.
[COMMON] Standby set as: after 10 min screen off and after 45 min standby; when I return to the laptop after 1-2 hours I find the keyboard leds on and system freezed including stuck white mouse pointer over a black screen (!?). I've found a workaround from admin prompt simply forcing hibernate after 30 min and setting screen off and standby both after 10 min. It didn't happen anymore.
Power settings commands (admin):powercfg /x hibernate-timeout-ac 0
(default 0, AC is for PSU mode) powercfg /x hibernate-timeout-dc 60
(default 60 min = 3600 sec, DC is for battery mode) powercfg HIBERNATE ON
(force-enable Hibernation if not present)powercfg /q
(to show current idle settings)✍🏻 IMPORTANT: to report issues with Armoury Crate to ASUS support, follow this post (create the log and fill out the form!): https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/armoury-crate/armoury-crate-v5-7-6-0-amp-v5-7-9-0-aura-creator-v3-7-6-...

Is it me or ... my G713PV laptop is working way way better now? 🤔
Well, seems very good news on my side
Installed latest Adrenalin 24.6.1 (Graphics + Chipset) with driver 32.0.11021.1011, and that did really improve stability and fix long time issues
Along with a recent nVidia driver (I have 555.85, which includes the updated 1.4.0.1 HDA sound driver), I noticed lots of discrepancies have been solved:
Yet still hardly happening : the wierd black logon screen (no Windows Spotlight image) and nVidia icons lost in taskbar. Due to winlogon crash and explorer restart while sleeping.
I use a simple workaround for that, with a scheduled task, detecting this event, and killing nVidia container; this forces nVidia icons to restart.
Trivial, but does the job 😊
For Random Reboots, I cannot say, as I have had very few by the past
IMHO, really worth a try, first time I see so much improvement on this platform since day 1
And 1st anniversary for this laptop 🎂... 1 year waiting for it ...

When this happens, try Ctrl+Win+Shift+B to see if that restores the screen.

For those who don't know: this reset and restarts video drivers (built-in Windows 10/11 shortcut)

I had to make significant changes to get improvement with my random restart issue, (seperate thread). I have had no restarts in a month since replacing the ram (as per this thread), also the wifi card (as per this thread) reinstalling windows without any asus software (as per this thread, using G-Helper now) although I run in ultimate mode using turbo settings. Using the recommended drivers helped (restarts went from twice per day to twice per week) and I may eventually try the drivers you mention as I will no doubt need to update at some point (thanks for linking them!)

@snuffpig and @hexaae : Thanks for the tip, I was not aware about this shortcut, which is interesting!
Just something I forgot to mention for mixing both Hibernation + Modern Standby with no freeze
I did a little registry addition for Power settings, for "Device powering down policy", which did fix this issue on my end:
reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\4faab71a-92e5-4726-b531-224559672d19\DefaultPowerSchemeValues\381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e" /v ProvAcSettingIndex /t REG_DWORD /d 1
This did stop all freeze on exiting Modern Standby sleep for me (this applies for the default "legacy" Power scheme, balanced, which is normally the only one available on Windows 11)

I've had my device for 8 months now, and my CPU temperatures never seem to go down. Even when I start the device, it begins at a temperature of 90 degrees Celsius. The temperatures rise to 92 degrees even when I'm doing something as simple as browsing a forum or watching a video on YouTube. I've seen temperatures as low as 65 degrees when the device is idle. As you can see in the photos, my temperatures are at these levels. I have uninstalled Armory Crate and similar applications and am now using G-Helper, but I don’t know how to optimize my fan settings and power limits. I am also keeping my BIOS up to date; I am on version 329. Before installing G-Helper and updating my BIOS, I was frequently facing reboots, but I currently don’t have that issue. I am using Windows 11 Home Single and am considering upgrading to Windows 10 Pro. Do you think this is a good idea? I am also seeing temperatures of 95 degrees Celsius and above while gaming or editing videos, although my GPU seems to be operating normally. It’s only my CPU that is overheating excessively. I would greatly appreciate your help and an explanation of the reason behind this issue. I will be happy to share the images with you below.

TBH these processors run hot, and that's completely okay; they're working as intended.

I’m not sure if it was intended for my device to start at 90 degrees as soon as it powers on. I’m aware that it’s heating up, but from what I’ve read, I haven’t seen many people reporting similar issues here.

Don't look at temperature while in BIOS, it increases as the CPU does work
When booting Windows, My 7845HX is around 60 degrees C with G Helper set in CPU Silent mode. Curves in G Helper are very easy to tweak, simply move or add some points and then select apply curve
Check also the CPU load on desktop when doing nothing. When idle, should be around 1%

Could you please share your settings with me? This situation is quite frustrating as my device continues to run at high temperatures even when idle. Do you think it would be reasonable to downgrade to Windows 10 Pro, or should I continue with Windows 11 Home Single Language? Would there be any impact from such a change?
