I own Asus ROG Scar 18 with i9-13980hx processor, RTX 4090. I dont know why but after latest bios update i think 309 my cpu in Cinebench 27 Multiscore test running showing MAX wattage output only 98 - 100 W in HWInfo...before 145W. I have tested in Turbo power effeciency, also i checked Battery optimatisaton is on highest level.... no undervolt... any suggestions where can be problem?? I was looking in bios setup if there is setting for core optimalization but i cant find it.... i am desperate
thx for any help

What are the temperatures for this watt usage also you can download Intel XTU and from there you can increase the TVB if the problem is there
Another thing is if you haven't clean your laptop soon you can do it if it has more dust that increase the temperature and you hit the thermal limits

I was opening laptop it is abslolutly clear of dust... i also used Air cleaner in can.... so i dont see problem in there.... see attached photo for stress test using throttle stop...

In your case, the CPU is overheating and hitting the thermal limit. This is the reason why you have bad results.
Another thing that can help is to search in the forum for overheating problems in ROG laptops. In some posts, you can see custom fan profiles that you can try.
Also, you can undervolt your CPU to improve temperatures.
Another IMPORTANT thing is to use a cooling pad for your laptop.
If you try everything and nothing helps, the last thing you can do is to send your laptop to the repair center for a change of the cooling paste. In your case, it is liquid metal that can spill out from the chip and must be reapplied.

Yeah i understand that what you telling me, but 2 weeks before was everithing ok, i dont think so that liquid metal aplication suddenly vapourate.... or it is possible?

No vapourate ... Split out its different
Not the same like the picture but similar

So after opening my laptop I seen that.... basicaly my gpu and cpu didnt have liquid metal on them at all... you can see black spots from high temps i had... now after applying new liquid metal temps in games goes 10 degrees down and too my Cinebench R23 score before hardly 28000 pts now 34249 pts... its big difference i reccomend to all with high temp problems, to reaply liquid metal it is worth it 🙂

I am happy that you find the problem and fix you laptop i haved the same problem also i repaste my laptop before 1 week and i haved the same problem all liquid was split out from the CPU and the thermal paste on the GPU was dry after repaste everything work perfect
This is normal for the liquid metal it doesn't matter what brand laptop you use or what brand liquid metal the chance to have a problem like this is very high also if you remember the PS5 have a problem like this when you place them on side the liquid metal spil out and damage the console in some case's
