I want Asus officials to support this issue. I want to upgrade ROG Strix G18 (2023) RAM to 5600 mhz. Please do a bios update for it. Other brands allow up to 6000 MHz.

Asus can we please get an answer if you plan on supporting this in the future? I bought a scar and legion to test and the legion is 5-10 more frames in every game across the board, same specs and drivers with difference being ram speed (legion is 5600).

It will never happen. They always lock the ram like this and will not have an update to allow faster ram. I would suggest never buying 5600. No reason to. This is how Asus has done this for a long time.

KINGSTON FURY Impact SO-DIMM Kit 64GB, DDR5-5600, now runs at 5200 as per Intel specs. Single 32GB module also only runs at 5200.

64GB SO-DIMM kit is expected to run at 5200MHz. Not sure about a single stick though, can anyone confirm the same for 32GB 5600MHZ (2 X 16B kits).

I believe 5200MHz speed with 32GB RAM is the best we will ever get, since even Razer upgraded their blade 18 laptop from 32GB 5600MHz to 64GB 5200MHz. It seems 5600MHz on 64GB RAM is too much for the CPU. Even Intel didn't confirm that the 13980HX can run both 64GB and 5600Mhz at the same time. They only said it supports up to 64GB and up to 5600MHz.
I'm quite happy that we at least got it upgraded to 5200MHz.

no, intel confirmed 128GB with 5600mhz, we just got 64GB, which is not the same!
