Hello,

Which laptop and why did you change the liquid metal? Also did you do this or someone else?

Do you have any pictures of how the heatsink and laptop looked before you changed the liquid metal?

Also what thermal pastes did you use for the CPU, GPU and VRM + Memory chips?

Are the fans spinning, if so you will need to take the heatsink off and check the contact but depending on the other thermal pastes inside, specifically the thermal putty used on the CPU/GPU and memory chips if this has set solid and you removed the heatsink, when placing back it can create a misalignment issue / reduced contact pressure.

When you took the heatsink off was the thermal putty on the VRM / memory chips solid and brittle?

I think now the only option is to inspect the heatsink, take it off and have a look / take pictures so we can see what's going on.

Hey,i have asus rog strix g16.

Someone else do that, now my laptop have blue screen

Then I would strongly suggest you let them look at it - I'm assuming it wasn't an authorised repair centre if you're asking here?

Hi @Florin231

Without trying to be forthright or dismissive, if the temperature increase is large after changing the compound, then there's an issue with how it's been applied or remounted, and the system is heavily throttling. Have you attempted to take the system apart again since to inspect?

Also, as asked above, did you reapply/replace any of the other thermal applications and make sure they were still in place?

Hello, I tried to turn it on today but it gave me a blue screen and then a black screen, so I sent it in for warranty.
