HELP -> broken core? Asus rog strix G18

Model: Asus rog strix G18, 4080, i9 13th

I've been using this laptop for a year, I haven't used it much to play games yet, but when I used it I always noticed small image freezes and VERY high temperatures. I don't understand much about the subject so as I didn't use it much to play I left this problem alone, I started using it to play recently and this problem started to bother me, I researched the subject, did some tests and came to the conclusion that maybe the problem in liquid metal, what do you think about it? core 0 heats up instantly


there is a photo before the test and a photo 2 sec after the test started

cinebench R23 score using the build on the video was 23.500

Update, yesterday
I bought the liquid metal and changed it, that was really the problem, the liquid metal had run down to the edges and the processor was dry, I don't know if this has anything to do with me carrying the notebook around a lot in my backpack, but I have the impression that this may have been one of the factors why this happened

After changing the liquid metal I ran the same test and the score was 30,000
and the processor kept temperatures below 90

Your voltage is high (1.546). Use Armoury Crate to update the BIOS. Intel's i9-13 has a problem with oxidation of vias in the core. Intel said that problem didn't apply to mobile (HX) chips, but your results would indicate otherwise. The BIOS upgrade will limit the voltage to under 1.4V.

also played and the micro freezing disappeared
