Heavy framerate drop after updating drivers

I recently updated the vBIOS, chipset and graphics card drivers on my G73jh (many thanks to the useful links on this forum 🙂 )

Everything works fine, except one thing : I get much lower framerate than before while playing games.

For example, I used to run Starcraft 2 at ultra graphics setting, and I would get 60-80 fps on a quiet in-game screen, but I now get only 40 fps, and it drops to 15-20 when things get busy !!

Any suggestions ?

(Perhaps a silly question) Have you installed the latest driver for your graphics card?

Take a look at this thread. I think he may have the same issue with his low FPS
