GL753VE BIOS 307 missing in the download area?

Hi Everybody,

I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same problem illustrated in my screenshot below when trying to update the GL753VE BIOS to version 307 using WinFlash "Get BIOS from the Web" function :confused:



Anyway, it is a bit funny that BIOS 307 has been published on the ASUS product support pages for GL553VE on August 2 and for GL773VD on July 23 but not yet for GL753VE. Based on the information on my screenshot, BIOS 307 for GL753VE has existed since July 31, but apparently somebody in ASUS staff just forgot to put it available for download :rolleyes:

Thank you ASUS staff for adding the BIOS 307 to the manual downloads for GL753VE. The online update with WinFlash still cannot manage to get the file though.

Please try check Support & Downloads in DIFFERENT region.

I have the same case for BIOS 303 for GL502VSK - there is no even such model in Russian support section. But there is in America.

Yep and even the online update using WinFlash finds the BIOS 307 and successfully completes the process. The actual date of the BIOS 307 file is 16 April 2018 so the road from development to production seems to be quite long... :rolleyes:

I successfully completed an online BIOS update using WinFlash and after that tried the System Firmware update of Device Manager. Since the update process using the "Search automatically for updated driver software" actually found a newer driver and installed it, this System Firmware update process does not seem to be updating the BIOS on the motherboard but something else related to it. After the update my driver version is "10.1.2.307" so the last 3 digits are linked to BIOS version 307. You seem to have a model different from GL753VE since your 3 digits are 310...

Googling did not reveal anything certain about this System Firmware update of Device Manager.
