im dersperatly trying to set up dual boot on my GL753VD, without any solution yet 😕
(trying to install on the HDD on an extra partition)
Windows 7 pro 64bit :
After installation windows 7 bluescreens into

i tried with/without secure boot an csm support, unfortunately i cant really change much in bios. People on different forums wrote that asus isnt suppurting windows7 in bios settings anymore and thats it.

when i boot from the installation dvd windows tells me

the disk selection window is empty.
starting diskpart in the command prompt and it cant see any installed disks either.
when im starting the installation out of win10 it installs fine and runs. but it wont let me choose any install directory and removes my win10.
as a last resort i tried:
installed win10 on the hdd partition i made for win8, dual boot with 2 win10 works. booted the win10 from hdd and started win8 installation. this is working until win8 install wants to reboot, after that its just booting into recovery mode an offers "turn off pc" and "advanced". under advanced there is "fix startup issues" "command prompt" and "select another os"
when i select fix startup issues it tells me the disk is locked and it can do anything.
diskpart still cant see any installed drives.
when i reboot again its booting my hdd-win10.
after running out of ideas i tried:
installing win8 on ssd over my win10 installation. this works fine. booted into console and copied everything from the ssd onto the hdd "win8" partition.
reinstalled win10 on the ssd. manually set up the bcd to dual boot for ssd win10 and hdd win8.
win8 boots after that, but only into a black screen with mouse cursor. i can start the task manager but cant start any new tasks out of it.
is it even possible to set this up on this system or am i just stupid?
