gl703gs G sync issue (dark edges during fast movements that look that ghosting)

Has anyone experienced this? Hardware issue worthy of return maybe? I'm wondering if its a hardware defect and I tried bio resets, turning AA and motion blur off and nothing changes

Edit: laptop used is asus rog gl703gs, and ghosting doesnt appear to be visible from screenshots taken in game.

If you post what product is concerning you I can move this thread to that section. Others with the same product may be able to help better.

I would probably start by installing the latest Nvidia drivers from Nvidia's site and ticking the box for a clean install during the installation process.

I have a Gsync monitor and I'm not getting that...on any of the latest drivers

Which driver...which game?

Maybe use DDU in safe mode and reinstall driver?

I had tried DDU clean installs with pretty much all the handful of nvidia drivers at the asus site. Even reinstalled windows at one point. This happens in all games as soon as g sync is turned on. The one listed above is monster hunter world btw.

Sounds like inverse ghosting. It's a by-product of some panels overdrive function. Difficult to say without a video, though.

Oh right, so you've been pretty thorough already.

If you click open in new tab on your image in first post you can see clearly...

Not sure what else to suggest...maybe post at Nvidia forum....have you read about the net to see if other same models have same problem?

I would be thinking of a return though...should not be like that

I been comtemplating the return for sure, looked all over the net and could only find maybe 2 or 3 other people with the same issue. Cant even say if they even had the same model but displayed the same ghosting, although one of them had it persisting even when g sync was off.
