Gl703GS display problem

Hi. There is something wrong going on GL703GS.*
I’m talking about this black shadows on the edges of moving objects. As a example I use Farcry 5 footage, in other games it may look different.
Sometimes it appears as a halo or something like this.

Please have a look at this video that I’ve recorded in slow motion. *Please take a look at the roof for example. Black colour on the edge .. WTF ??

I know that there is more people with the same problem.
It only appears on laptop screen. When I connect laptop to external display like my TV for example, everything looks fine. * *
If anyone have found a solution for this problem, please let me know. *

ASUS has nothing to say?
Is it a
AUO B173HAN03.2 [AUO329D] problem or just an NVidia driver video issue (up to current 417.35 WHQL)?

Bad news: Nvidia said it's not a problem in their drivers.
This means it's a ASUS hardware issue or a bad choice of faulty panels from AUO?
Will now ASUS offer a free replacement for owners of these expensive gaming laptops?

Hey ASUS... news? Fix (new vbios or something)?
It's unacceptable for an expensive laptop like this with inadequate AUO B173HAN03.2 [AUO329D] displays! ASUS should provide a fix (free panel replacement or SW tweak to cancel inverse ghosting)!

C'mon ASUS you must do something!

I hope that ASUS will find solution for this problem.
It is unacceptable in £1700 laptop !!

This issue is also present on laptops using 120 hz AUO panel. Laptops like the g701vik, gl702vs, gl702vi. I know, I tested all 3.

As seen on the above video, The issue on the gl702vs can be temporary fixed by installing driver 376.06 released by Asus in 2016.

Dear Asus, can you please release a newer driver which has the same fix as the 376.06 for these panels?

tl,dr: not only the gl703gs is affected, but a lot of older models too.

So you think that it can be solved by driver update ?
I hope so.....

Since Nvidia customer care said what he said (see #14) I doubt they'll ever fix it. Maybe we should push NVidia for a fix and not ASUS?
