Hi. There is something wrong going on GL703GS.* I’m talking about this black shadows on the edges of moving objects. As a example I use Farcry 5 footage, in other games it may look different. Sometimes it appears as a halo or something like this.
Please have a look at this video that I’ve recorded in slow motion. *Please take a look at the roof for example. Black colour on the edge .. WTF ??
I know that there is more people with the same problem. It only appears on laptop screen. When I connect laptop to external display like my TV for example, everything looks fine. * * If anyone have found a solution for this problem, please let me know. *
There was someone else complaining about this exact same issue here in the forums. I think he tracked it down to be something related to gsync. As far as I can remember he couldn't fix it. The only way to "fix" it was using really old display drivers from the asus support page.
I still don't know if this is a common problem or it is just my faulty unit ? My laptop is still on warranty so I can send it for replace or repair but Im not sure if this is hardware or software problem.
Would be great if GL703GS users would share opinion on this topic. Regards
I think that's a common problem with this specific model, but it's not something everyone would notice. I know I would and looks like it's pretty annoying.
