GL703GE - Replaced LCD Screen and Cable, nonsense..

Hello,

recently my LCD did not work anymore, I opened the notebook and figured out the display-cable on the way to the LCD was was partially severed, however the other branch to the camera was fine and the camera also worked well.

I replaced a new LCD and display cable, even replaced the whole back cover, still the LCD is not working.......

It is recognised by Windows but is always black (also the red rog eye light in the back cover is not turned on.)

I don't think it can be Windows related as the LCD is not showing up also in the Boot or BIOS.
