GL702VMK battery LED flashing intermittently orange

So I noticed my Laptop (GL702VMK) battery LED was flashing intermittently orange and not a solid green like it normally is. It was reporting 94% battery and "not charging". I unplugged it and fired up a game to try to drain some more juice and see if it would start charging once plugged back in. For some reason it just stayed at 94% no matter what. A quick web search and I found a post about holding the power button for 10 seconds after a reboot once the laptop entered the ROG splash screen. I did this and awesomely enough it seems to have solved the problem. After the reboot the LED is solid orange, reporting 74% battery and charging. Right now it appears things are going back to normal.

So I am guessing/hoping this is a power management issue and software related? Or does this not bode well for the future of my battery? Has anyone else encountered this and has it led to a battery replacement shortly afterwards? I have 3 months of warranty left and really don't wanna go through a possible RMA nightmare. Thanks for any help/information in advance.

Thanks for that, appreciated. Although, my laptop battery wasn't below 10%, rather it was down to 74% with the LED blinking Orange and not charging. In any event, holding the power button for 10 seconds on boot solved the issue. The battery then charged right back to 100% and seems to be behaving normally, charging at the proper time, and maintaining a solid green LED.
