Hi, before all sorry my bad english , thats my first message.
Im having thermal issues w my GL502VS too. I undervolt CPU (i7 6700HQ -0,150v)and make a custom voltage for the GTX 1070 in MSI Afterburner( I dont know if thats good enought 900mV@1800). Temps go cooler, but still reach up to 85° both CPU/GPU (vs stock 92° +).
Im thinking in repaste the laptop, but I think liquid metal is too dangerous for me. I has some thermal pads and Artic MX4. Can this improve a little the temps or is useless at all?
I read in this thread that u guys use foil tape to cover the hole between vents and heatsink, but i cant translate if this is normal adhesive or some special tape like aluminium or something...
Another question, my last, drill the bottom case only in fan's place or in hdds & ram ? That help?
Thanks a lot, hope you give me a hand.

I would consider buying bottom case from Aliexpress ASUS GL502VS-DS71 GL502VM-DS74 13NB0DD6AP0301 and perform experiments on it. Rather you will lose a warranty.
I planned following operations on my GL502VSK (before it went to RMA):
1. Cut holes in bottom cover to provide laminar air-flow to vents.
2. Polish cooling system (are which contacts GPU + CPU).
3. Apply Liquid Metal (it's not that hard - watch YouTube videos)
4. Tape holes between vents and sinks.
I believe it will provid best results.

Thank you for your answer, mate.
I just receive yesterday the same aliexpress bottom case you are looking for. My laptop is black and a half grey doesnt look very good, but it fits perfectly and was the cheapest i found.
Im just now thinking how to drill it, cause I dont have advanced tools like dremel... but lets try.. I will show my results here.
About the liquid metal, I know is just like apply another thermal paste, but seems too much dangerous for the computer, so I prefer not to risk.. Hope a standard Artic MX4 improve a little the temps.
About the holes between vents and sinks, you recomend any especial item? I dont know if use basic plastic duct tape or aluminium..and remove the dust filters.. no idea..
Thanks! Good day
