GL553VD: supposed to have a 4gb GTX1050, but mine only has 2gb (apparently)

So the GL553VD is supposed to have a 4gb GTX1050, but for some reason, my computer thinks I only have 2gb. I was hoping somebody here could maybe help me figure this out, if at all possible.

There are two variants of this model, with 2GB and 4GB of VRAM, according to the product page and Nvidia wiki. Clocks, core count and everything else are the same for both, except for the frame buffer size.

Then I might just have been screwed over by the website I bought it from, then. Oh goodie... 😕

It all depends on the variants that were available at the time when you purchased the gaming laptop...
