Anyone playing Battlefield 4? I'm trying to determine the most appropriate settings to have the best FPS without resorting to LOW settings in the game.

I read that the 960M should get 60 FPS in med to high settings but I don't come close to that. I'm getting avg 25 FPS Medium

I already checked to make sure NVIDIA is used on launch of the game instead of Intel.

Please share what results you're getting and any config settings. Thanks!

I have a month old G771JW (i7-4720hq, 960m and 8gb RAM) and have played only BF4.

First you might wanna watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y04cZd9srfk and download the BF4 Settings Editor from the video description.
Second here is what different settings affects your fps http://forum.symthic.com/battlefield-4-general-discussion/5688-graphics-settings-and-how-they-affect...

Settings that I use: http://imgur.com/FB9oc7X
On the console -tab: TripleBuffering, DirectX11, DirectX11,1 and DirectX Runtime = Disabled + Shadowmap resolution = 512

On these settings I get 60-70fps on every map/campaign. Sometimes fps drops ~50 when there is lot of action like in 64 players on Metro.

On these settings I think you SHOULD get quite same performance. If you don't - then the problem is not propably related to BF4.
You can test this also by runnin 3DMark11 Basic Performance test ( http://www.futuremark.com/benchmarks/3dmark11 ) or 3DMark11 Skydiver 1.0 test ( http://www.futuremark.com/benchmarks/3dmark )

My laptop scored straight out from the box on 3DMark11 Performance 5453 (GPU 5313 / CPU 6446) and on Skydiver 1.0 in this condition 12094 (GPU 13574 / CPU 7542).
I think you SHOULD get quite similar scores and I you don't - something is eating your laptops performance.

And another advice. Make sure that you have full battery + AC plugged when your playing. Just using battery or low battery + AC affects performance a LOT.
