GL552J Rog not starting anymore

Hi guys.
I have a real serious problem.
Situation: i am a sailor and for now on a remote island in Philippines. I use my GL552J for navigation and all my
charts and programs through it. It is 4 months old and normally a nice tool to do all i want. It is with windows 10.
Now i cannot move anymore since it went yesterday into power save mode and did not start anymore.
I had that issue already 2 times before, but then i removed battery and power plug, put battery back and pushed power button
while sticking in power plug and then released button. Then it worked. I changed my settings and could work fine.
Then i was stupid enough to change power management again due to the fact that i had not so much power on the boat.
Then i made a trip yesterday and in mid of the trip the laptop switched off.
Now it seems like dead, only one light, the green led which shows that power is going in.
How can i start it again ?
Excuse my English, i am not native. But please help me, cause I am in a very, very
inconvenient situation.

thanks

Have you tried removing battery and putting power plug back in without batter and then push power button? With power plug in without the battery, what is the status of the LED light indicator? (Trying to isolate a defective battery which shorts out power supply. I you have a volt meter, please try to measure the voltage reading of the battery and then measure also the voltage of the dc out of the ac adaptor. Voltage rading should be greater than rated voltage on the adaptor, and battery voltage should be approximatel equal to the rated battery voltage.

Yes, i tried to start without battery.
Removing battery and only plug in power cable leads to a NOTshow of green led.
I would like to messure. How to do that exactly ?
Where do i find plus and minus a) on the battery, b) in the adaptor ?

@Tokodude
thanks for answer.
I am really scared for doing it. I will do it when i have no more options.
And maybe for that i need more advices later.

Could also be that the power adaptor is putting out less voltage than what is needed to charge the battery and power up the laptop.

Well if you have a digital voltmeter, it does not matter if you got it reversed. Youll just get a negative value. Set your dvm(voltmeter) to 20 or 50 volt dc range or auto. Put the red probe to the inner connector of dc adaptor and the black probe to outer connector. For battery usually it is marked with plus or minus, embodsd near the terminal.

Going back to one of my older questions:
can we say its a hardware problem or software issue ?
thanks

Maybe i pushed too strong ?
Not sure. How do i know it ?

Does the button depress (move in) when pushed and move out when released? The light you mentioned earlier does sound as though its charging when battery is in. On my G752 when I place my finger on the button and begin to press it down I can feel it make contact to a pad below and it springs back up.
I like to start off small when trying to troubleshoot unless there is obvious signs.

Yes, button comes out and goes in, like normal.
I can not feel any 'contact', but i think i never felt. so.

Update of my problem.
Meanwhile i was in Puerto Princesa and went to technicans. 2
They opened and we went through the things u guys suggested.
Memorycard 1 out : not success
Memorycard 2 out : no success
all memorycards out : no success
Harddisk out : no success
cmos out, later in : no success
Then they said its a motherboard problem or keyboard problem.
But they say that always....
Ok, i went back to the boat and let the laptop in the bag for last 5 days.
Now i packed it out and just for "fun" i tried to start. And now! What happened ? There was
suddenly a light at the start button and soon it started fully. I imediately went to energy settings and switched all to 'never'
I was nearly crying, so i decided to get my external harddisk and wanted to do a full backup first, cause i miss really some datas
But then: screen got black out of nothing. Red light still on. So i waited a bit and tried to start again. Nothing.
After another maybe 2 minutes the red light disappeared.
I took out battery and i saw the former green light of power (the only one which was working when battery was in) went into white flashing.
I started to do the things i got suggested - nothing.
Again it seems to be all dead.
Now. What do u guys think happened? What does it mean ?
