GL552J Rog not starting anymore UPDATE

My laptop went into energy save mode and did not come up anymore ..
No red lite, nothing, no starting - dead .

Update of my problem.
Meanwhile i was in Puerto Princesa and went to technicans. 2
They opened and we went through the things u guys suggested.
Memorycard 1 out : not success
Memorycard 2 out : no success
all memorycards out : no success
Harddisk out : no success
cmos out, later in : no success
Then they said its a motherboard problem or keyboard problem.
But they say that always....
Ok, i went back to the boat and let the laptop in the bag for last 5 days.
Now i packed it out and just for "fun" i tried to start. And now! What happened ? There was
suddenly a light at the start button and soon it started fully. I imediately went to energy settings and switched all to 'never'
I was nearly crying, so i decided to get my external harddisk and wanted to do a full backup first, cause i miss really some datas
But then: screen got black out of nothing. Red light still on. So i waited a bit and tried to start again. Nothing.
After another maybe 2 minutes the red light disappeared.
I took out battery and i saw the former green light of power (the only one which was working when battery was in) went into white flashing.
I started to do the things i got suggested - nothing.
Again it seems to be all dead.
Now. What do u guys think happened? What does it mean ?

I'm afraid, this is already a motherboard problem. Need for warranty service.

Hi, thanks for that answer, even its very discouraging.
As i opened it now, and it was already opened 2 times before, i am afraid warranty is gone...
Anyway i opened it now and plugged in the power adaptor. Battery was out.
I suddenly saw all lights on! Before i believed i can run it only with battery in, but in deed suddenly wihite light for
power came, red light for start button and keyboard had red light as well for short time. It seemed like it wanted to start.
But i had forgotten the memories to stick back. I put them back also the hd. I realised when i push a bit the plug power is off, when
i put in right position its working, but screen still dark.
So i realised that one cabel is not fit in. I fitted it in (its the white small one , look at pics)
But then i put battery back, i had only green light again.
I took battery out again and again i had full lights only screen did not come up ...
Now all dead like before

It is best to have it serviced by a qualified technician to prevent further damage. I'm really sorry for your situation.

Just from following the history I have to agree with the motherboard assessment. The charging and power distribution all comes down to circuitry on the board in the end. If you have everything pulled as in memory and drives and you get nothing this is a dead ringer. It won't get to BIOS like that but you should still momentarily get the red light and beeps to let you know the RAM was not detected. With good RAM and no drive you should be able to get to the bios. I don't know what type of vessel you are on but I do know that most are not conducive to laptops. Heavy seas and salt air takes its toll very easily. Even Marine electronics specifically made to take that beating are still prone to failure. Every little electrical connection has to be protected. My last boat had rubber boots on everything and the boots were filled with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion.

@Kropotkin - You might be new to this forum but please note the following:
NO REASON TO POST 2 NEW THREADS ABOUT SAME SUBJECT !

You might ask your self - "why should I bother" ?
Well, leaving a reply in an already opened thread, with same/similar topic, can help the ROG community by having ONE THREAD that debates same subject, instead of many many others.
That way, the ROG community will have a "library of knowledge" on same topic - IN ONE PLACE.

Please contact the administrators your self, and ask him to wipe this thread. ( as an older one exist )

Please leave the moderating to the moderators. If you take a moment to actually look the old thread was closed and locked by a MODERATOR with a link in the MODERATORS post to this thread.

I wonder - Why the sudden head-rise ? i've comment to newbies & veteran all around in the last couple of months to use search feature & google.
yeah...i'm slow on my writing replies (only ~2 hours difference from admin )- it is truth, i'm a human being also, make mistakes - but does it mean I'm wrong in my judgment ? I beg your pardon, but I think not.

Do you really expect that for every "bad behavior" of users, others should contact admins right away for that or worst do nothing just hope for the better ?
For everyone sake I hope your answer is no... thus community intervention by explanation/warnings (i.e "education" by telling other how to "walk" in our forum) is a better approach.
otherwise - bombarding the admins with "behavior correction and warnings" will might make them tired of reading and handling such actions leaving them handling only "by the book" offences - and who benefits from that ?
Do you really like to see a sub-forum full with doppelganger threads on the 1st page or any other ?
Do you really like investing your time searching for the solution for your problem, fragment by fragment scatters across the forum, instead of finding the solution in one SINGLE thread ?
Try to use your wisecrack in forum like XDA, and you'll get kicked. knows why ? because we are living in an the information age, and order is important not less then the information it self.

Now, if you think I made a mistake ( as anyone here is a human being ), in the future, please PM me, and if it turns out you're correct,
I promise to wipe my comments entirely.

Trust me when I say the uprise is not sudden. It's more like toleremce of reading the same post over and over has worn thin. I get that some don't have the patience. I also get that you are not a moderator and it's not your place to give out warnings. A PM to the user is more appropriate than the same C&P pipboy crap post. That takes of half the page. A simple "hey"!i found these links using the search feature" is more than sufficient.

Youve made some very informative guides here, even though they are very hard on the eyes to read and literally give me a headache. I've read most of them, little at a time because that's all I can take.

I you feel in necessary please C&P your pipboy message in a PM. By the book "offenses" are the job of the moderators. You don't see them in here posting pipboy remarks. When something is out of line they send the member a PM unless they are closing a thread then they will post why they closed it.

Posting the same useless pipboy comment over and over actually classifies as spam. There is no need to contact the mods or admins over a duplicate post nor is there a reason to make a pipboy post. I've noted that the real moderators here actually do from time to time go through and clean up. It's all part of having such a site. Without newbies coming in this forum would go dead. New people asking old questions are what keeps it alive. For items that are strictly informational the real mods have a tool for that too, it's called a sticky. XDA is more likely to ban a wannabe moderator that keep chastising the newbies than they are someone who asks the wannabe moderator to stop trying to moderate.

Please stop with the Pipboy posts as there is nothing more annoying than when I search for something, even if it's scattered out, to have the flow of the tread Interupted by pipboy spam.

First of all, i did not want to bother anyone, when i opened another thread, i thought its different.
Anyway, no problem with that , i understand ...

Here is now the update of my problem with my GL552J, in the case other people will have same issue:

the last "idea" was its a motherboard, or in general, a hardwareproblem.
Well, i accepted that at first, took all apart and followed some instructions (take off cmos, take off memories ...)
No result, same problem remained.

Si i let it go and waited for some weeks until i had enough nervs to start again.
The laptop started and shut down whenever it wanted. Sometimes it worked for hours, sometimes only 3 minutes.
The "shut down" remained me with a blinking white light which says computer is sleeping but on.
No chance to restart.

Then i did change the Bios Version, i changed from V203 to V207. I did it with winflash.
First it seemed a success, but 10 minutes later laptop said again good bye.
Next day i could start it and i put the hibernate off (powercfg/hibernate off)
Also i followed the instructions of "How to turn "fast starting off" "

Result: it works now! No sleep mode if i do not want, no shut down, nothing.
Its just doing his job.

I think the fast starting creates a huge file. Maybe it happens that this file is bigger than RAM and then
system blocks itself. I am pretty sure u guys know a good explanation.
Maybe all my problems came from the fact that in the beginning i changed windows 8 to 10. not sure.
Thanks to all for your help.
