Issue (In addition to the problem description please let us know if the problems started recently and if you remember changing anything around the same time, etc.)

Left built-in speaker worked fine until a week ago. Crackling sound appears when it hits low or high frequencies. Does not occur all the time. I can play the same song at different times and it'll be fine one minute and won't be the next. I will try to post an audio clip of the sound I'm trying to describe as soon as the issue resurfaces (currently it sounds fine)

As further confirmation that there's an issue with the left speaker, when testing the left and right speaker in Sounds>Playback>Speakers>Configure speakers, the right speaker is always crisp sounding while the left speaker sometimes has a noise/distortion which accompanies the test sound. Sound drivers are up to date and all enhancements have been disabled as well. Appreciate your help/input. Thanks!
