GL504GM Fan stuck in overboost

Hi, i've seen more people having trouble with the fan in the GL504GM. it started 3 days ago that the fan gets stuck in overboost mode even though i put it on silent or on balanced mode. using the ASUS Gaming Center or the hotkeys on the keyboard don't do anything. is there a fix to this? i already uninstalled and re installed the ASUS Gaming Center app, updated windows and updated Nvidia. Thanks.

all i did was update windows, update nvidia, i got a forced update for my bios to 310, updated something on MyAsus, deleted and re installed Asus Gaming Center ( i contacted asus and they gave me another version of Asus Gaming Center ) which did not work until i downloaded it on my android phone. it seems a lot of people's fan got f*cked up in the last couple of days so hope asus going to come out with an update for whatever is causing this.

Hii!, may i have the link as well for the another version of gaming center they gave you? i would like to try if it would work for me. thank you! 🙂

its stuck again at high RPM and now ASUS Gaming Center stops connecting to my phone so it doesnt work

Guys it's probably the BIOS update that caused this issue, not the Armoury Crate or Gaming Center app itself.

im trying to downgrade my bios to 309 (its 310 now) but i cant because its saying that the bios that im trying to get is older

EDIT: i just downgraded my bios to 309 AND 308and fan still blowing at 6500 RPM when under 35 celcius unable to control it through ASUS Gaming Center or the app on my phone

EDIT: unable to downgrade my bios to 309 or 308 stays at bios 310, managed to get an asus worker to send it higher up which took a lot of time for some reason.

Today i tried to connect with my android phone with bluetooth and for some reason bluetooth completely dispappeared from the laptop, its running but not usable anymore. no on/off switch or in the action center. bluetooth problem solving says that bluetooth is not on the device... restarted laptop, updated it through device manager, used the command services.msc... i never had any problems with other companies but this is just ridiculous.

It was happened to me too then I decided to reset my machine (not the same as installing windows, just go to setting > recovery > advance startup and then go to reset this PC)

When it complete the process I don't have any issue anymore, anyway I dont install ROG Game center this time because I really not sure was it causes the problem.

Will update you later after I use it for about a month

i have it too in my phone , but it does nothing but it shows my cpu fan speed to 5300rpm which is really fast for no reason. 😞

HINT:
if you have doubts about buggy ASUS components like Gaming Center/Crate etc. you can try to temporarily disable all instances with AutoRuns64 (run it in Admin mode) and then reboot, e.g. to disable Gaming Center service and its auto-launch in background at startup:

Asus keyboard Hotkeys installation + restart helps!
