Then I restart, it does it again. Then on the third it rolls back and goes back to normal until updates try again.

This thread may be closed soon if it sounds like the issue is the same as the other thread below, but some other GL502VS customers have reported issues to upgrade to both Win10 ver. 1703 and ver. 1709, so curious if you were able to upgrade to Win10 ver. 1703 successfully, or are still running Win10 ver. 1607?
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?92349-Windows-Creator-Update-Installation-Failure-on-GL502...Also, don't remember if anybody has tried to download the Win10 ver. 1709 *.ISO from Microsoft to upgrade, but may be another thing to try although it may not make any difference.
If you don't mind erasing everything, try to reset Windows before trying the upgrade again just to check if there was something with your current Windows installation causing problems with the upgrade, but again, may not help if you prefer to wait for more ideas.
