Hey, so the day before last night.. I turned my ROG off before i went to sleep.
When I woke up the backlit wasn't coming on and the keyboard was unresponsive. The power key works fine and the backlight for the powerkey is fine.
First off, I remembered running CCleaner on the Registry the night before.
The keyboard does not work in the BIOS.
I'm using BIOS VERSION 305 (latest).
I tried resetting windows, keeping files, then resetting windows, removing files, then using windows defender clean install option. That's 3 windows resets.
Then I tried taking off the cover of the laptop and taking out the keyboard ribbon and putting it back in. I tried turning on the laptop with the ribbon out and it would not start/light up.
I tried an older version of the BIOS (302) and nothing.
The keyboard does not work in the BIOS either.
Anyone has any ideas?
