GL502VM over sharpened screen

Had a GL502VT-DS1, loved it. Beautiful screen. It got stolen last week.

Yesterday got a GL502VM-DS4 as a replacement it. Hate it. Screen is over sharpened and gsync causes micro stuttering.

Is there anyway to access the LCD panel controls to adjust sharpness?

If I ordered a replacement screen for the GL502VT, think it would fit in the GL502VM? The chassis looks identical other than it being a different color.

Or could this be a batch issue? Ask store for a replacement?

I checked and my GL502VM has the LG Philips LP156WF6 - LP156WF6-SPB6 panel in it.

Last night when I was searching on my old GL502VT I was getting both Samsung and LG panels coming up.

LG Philips
LP156WF4-SPH1

Samsung SDC324C
156HL01-104

Today I look and I think my old one had the Samsung panel in it. Looking at all these panels they use 30 pin connectors with 2 lane eDP protocol.

But I still wonder if I just have a bad batch since I can't find anyone else complaining about over sharpened images with vertical lines on these laptops.
