GL502VM FPS Massive Drops

ForumUser_5

Hello guys, I run a GL502VM with the 6th gen Intel Processor

I have had massive performance drops as of this morning. My GPU usage would randomly spike up to 95+ Percent, followed my a massive FPS drop to around 20 FPS after around a split second, it would rebound up. i had run into this problem before, and figured out that my CPU was being throttled at 99 Degrees. I turned off turbo to solve this problem before, but this time it did not work. I assumed that it was because my CPU was unable to handle the graphics of GTA V without turbo, but I switched back to Forza Horizon 4 (a game I am normally able to play at 60 FPS at Ultra Graphics), I still ran into the same problem. I then went to download the official GPU Driver for my model off the ASUS website (V2221138253) and used DDU to do a clean install. However, the problems still persist and may have increased in severity. I have even lowered the specs to High to see if I could get any improvement but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!

CPU and GPU Temps are aroung 70 to low 80s then gaming

I have attached a clip of me "playing" a game with the FPS counter at the top right to show what I am experiencing.

Dear friend use some really good liquid metal thermal paste like arctic m4 or grizzly and use a high speed laptop cooling pad and u can maintain your temps and get constant non drop fps. contact whatsapp if need assistance +91 9846256790
