So, I got this awesome laptop from Best Buy. Their ad said it came with 6GB of VRAM on the GTX970M. I recently had to find my serial number on the box andI noticed it says I should have 3GB of VRAM. When I go into the display adapter properties it does say 6GB but it also comes up as Intel HD Graphics and not NVIDIA. So I have two questions. One, why does it come up as Intel graphics instead on nvidia? And two, did ASUS mess up or something? Because according to my model number I should only have 3GB of VRAM. I'm not complaining about it, I just find it odd. I have the BSI7N27 model if that helps. Thanks for any answers or thoughts.

Hello irishfighter930
The GTX970M will only be fired up according to the Nvidia control panel settings
Otherwise, it's the Intel Graphics at play. That's why you see Intel graphics.
And about the second question, can you provide some photos or screenshots? Thank you
