So, I just ordered a Strix G16 2023, FHD, RTX 4070, 16GB and 13980HX for 1500 Eur.
I already ordered a second 16Gb stick of ram (Extra 40 Eur).
So, I want to know what to expect from this machine? Is it built to last? I'm typing from my XMG p507 7700hq, GTX 1070 and it is already 6-7 y.o.
Also, is there any known issue? If so, how to fix it?

You definitely need to undervolt your CPU. I have the same model, and my settings are:
Core: -165mV
Pcache: -165mV
Ecache: -145mV
Try them but there is not 100% guaranty they will work for you
You can also disable Hyper-threading to help improve your temperatures.
With the newest BIOS, the CPU is limited to 65 watts of power usage in games. If you want better performance, you can downgrade to BIOS 318, but keep in mind that this will lead to higher temperatures. That’s why it's important to invest in good cooling. A good option is the IETS GT500 or GT600, which have dust filters to protect your laptop from dust.
If you don’t get a cooler with a dust filter, your laptop will get dirty within 3-4 months, and you'll need to clean it. The thermal paste and liquid metal won’t last more than 8 months, so after that period, you should repaste your laptop. For the CPU, I recommend using liquid metal, such as Thermal Grizzly. For the GPU, I suggest Arctic MX6 thermal paste, which is excellent.
To keep your laptop running well and extend its lifespan, regular cleaning and good cooling are essential.
Additionally, I don’t use Armory Crate because it’s heavy and not well optimized. Instead, I recommend downloading Ghelper and installing MyASUS. Set the battery charging limit to 60% and create custom fan speed profiles with Ghelper.
It’s also a good idea to install the latest version of Windows 11 (24H2). I’ve been using it for a month, and it works well. The system’s latency is improved with this version.
