Experiencing crashing/reboot in Dune Awakening after a few minutes. All indications leads to the laptop drawing too much heat because the Multicore enhancement is set to auto when the I9 wants it to be set with limits. Sooo the solution is just flipping the switch in BIOS but for some reason there is no Multicore Enchancement (MCE) in BIOS anymore. It's listed in every vid I've seen and is a common problem but there is no AI option and no MCE toggles.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as there are many of us with this problem. Thanks.

Hello,
When looking at BIOSes are you mainly seeing this in Desktops? as the laptop ones have always been limited with the options.
Intel XTU v10 software will be able to help you.
Alternate software, Throttle Stop 9.7.3 but the author mentions it's not been tested for 200 series Intel CPU but can work for the CPU ratios and other controls.
How hot is the laptop (CPU / GPU) getting as it should be able to sustain quite high temps for long periods without crashing.

I have started monitoring the temps prior to a crash now as before it would take a couple minutes to restart and by then the temps wouldn't be accurate. I'll update this.
I have noticed when playing, prior to a crash, that I am not doing anything that is putting stress on graphics. Sometimes sitting in one spot (as you can be idle in this game a lot).
It will just crash and reboot. Now I can grind BF2042 or BO6 for hours at a time with the graphics maxed out and it's fine. Even Cyberpunk with graphical mods maxed out. It's runs perfect. Never a hiccup.
I was told by a random on a Dune forum that it was bios related and I was buring the pc up so when I went to look I couldn't find the info in the bios which finally brought me here.

The options are terrible for Armoury Crate. I am going to delete that BS and try Ghelper which has been recommended several times. I've never used it before though.
But yes the problem still remains. I hover around 90C even in most call situations which I also heard isn't normal although with the 5090 not unheard of.

Use hardware monitor for better recording of temps https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
And for Dune Nvidia did have a hotfix driver for crashes so in the event it's that, are you using it already?
Download link is at the bottom of the page: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5667/

Yes sir, I have the Nvidia hotfix. I can open the Nvidia app under the graphics tab and see I am using the right one. Interesting though when I start the game I still get the pop-up warning that my graphics card has known issues and to follow the link to get the right one which brings back to the hotfix driver link that I am using.
Thanks again

If you want to take a direct no nonsense approach to determine if the CPU boost is an issue run it without boost mode.
Do the registry edit and adjust the power plan as mentioned here.

Assuming this doesn't crash anymore that's good, means the hotfix is working (nvidia are having a bad run so it's hard to know if a fix is really a fix :))
Then try to work on your boost settings and get some temp screenshots too, if you have the PCH one that needs to be no more than 90 Deg C.
