I just bought a ROG STRIK G835LR – ULTRA 9 275 – Nvidia 5070ti at the end of October 2025, and it's already broken and in for repair due to the following error:
VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL ERROR (0x113)!!!!
My question: assuming it comes back to me one day in working order...
To get rid of ARMOURY CRATE, I plan to do the following when I receive it:
- Replace the SSD with a new one with a clean Windows installation (using a Windows v 25H2 ISO)
- Install G.HELPER
- In the BIOS: What should I do about “AMOURY CRATE control interface support” ? Should I disable it ?
If anyone has already done this, please let me know your opinion and advice!
